Bakı Dövlət Universiteti Faculty of Biology

The Faculty of Biology hosted an award ceremony to honor the winners of the 4th National Biology Olympiad for University Students.

The Olympiad was dedicated to the 103rd anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev. The competition brought together students from higher education institutions across the country and was held at Baku State University on May 25, 2026.

During the award ceremony, held on July 10, the Olympiad results were officially announced, and students who placed first, second, and third, as well as those receiving encouragement awards, were recognized. The event was attended by Afat Mammadova, Dean of the Faculty of Biology at Baku State University, department heads, faculty members, and students.

Based on the Olympiad results, Aytac Malikova, Nazrin Aslanova, and Nurlan Mustafayev (Baku State University), Gunay Azimova (Azerbaijan Medical University), Saray Bakhshiyeva (Sumgayit State University), and Sevinc Javadova (Karabakh University) received Encouragement Awards for their outstanding performance.

During the ceremony, special recognition was given to the winners for their strong interest in biological sciences, solid theoretical knowledge, and the high level of preparation they demonstrated throughout the Olympiad.
