The Novruz holiday was celebrated at the Faculty of Biology
Today, an event dedicated to the Novruz holiday was held at the Faculty of Biology, organized by the "Bioteam" student group. The Dean of the Faculty, Mrs. Afat Mammadova, along with professors, teaching staff, and students participated in the celebration.
Mrs. Afat Mammadova opened the event by congratulating the attendees on the occasion of Novruz and emphasized the importance of such cultural gatherings.
The event featured a rich and colorful program reflecting the symbols of Novruz, one of the most ancient and beloved holidays of the Azerbaijani people. The appearance of the character "Bahar qızı" (Spring Girl) symbolized the arrival of the holiday. This was followed by entertaining performances from the traditional Novruz characters Kosa and Keçəl, who brought joyful moments to the audience with their humorous acts.
The program included various musical performances, dances, and poetry recitations. Skits prepared by students and presentations showcasing national customs and traditions added a special charm to the celebration.
