Award Ceremony of the 2nd National Biology Olympiad Held at Baku State University
On May 22, the award ceremony of the 2nd National Biology Olympiad among university students, dedicated to the 102nd anniversary of the birth of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, was held at Baku State University (BSU).
The main goal of the Olympiad was to identify talented students in the field of biology, support their scientific potential, contribute to the training of specialists in accordance with modern standards, and promote scientific knowledge.
This scientific competition was held with the support of the Ministry of Science and Education, organized by Baku State University, and with methodological support from the Institute of Education. A total of 92 students from various higher education institutions across the country participated. Among the participating universities were BSU, Azerbaijan Medical University, Sumgayit State University, Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, Ganja State University, Lankaran State University, and Western Caspian University.
The questions presented at the Olympiad were prepared by subject-specialized instructors and selected in accordance with international standards. Students were given three hours to complete the test.
