Final-year students studying in relevant specialties at Baku State University are participating in an industrial internship program organized at “Araz Supermarket” LLC. The program aims to enable students to apply their theoretical knowledge in a real production and business environment, as well as to develop their professional skills.
Within the framework of the internship program, which began in February of this year and will continue until May, students gain practical knowledge across various areas of the company’s operations. The program provides an opportunity for students to closely familiarize themselves with modern production processes, management mechanisms, and food safety systems.
During the internship, students become acquainted with meat processing operations, the confectionery factory, the activities of the logistics center, packaging processes, and the operating principles of the “Araz” supermarket chain. In addition, they gain practical insights into supplier evaluation, product quality control, food safety, and quality management processes.
At a meeting organized as part of the program, Director of Human Resources and Business Support, Parviz Gasimov, met with the students and listened to their initial impressions and the knowledge they had gained during the internship. The meeting included discussions on the working environment provided for students, opportunities for enhancing practical knowledge, and prospects for their future professional development.
It was noted that such collaborative projects make a significant contribution to applying students’ theoretical knowledge in practice, developing their professional skills, and preparing them more effectively for entry into the labor market.
