A scientific presentation by Professor Muhammad Zafar from the Department of Plant Sciences at Quaid-i-Azam University (Islamabad), Pakistan, was held at the Faculty of Biology of Baku State University.

As part of the event, Professor Zafar met with the faculty's Master's and PhD students and delivered an extensive presentation on his scientific research related to plant pollen, the pollination process, and their study as bioindicators. He shared examples from a series of microscopic-level studies on pollen and discussed his practical and theoretical experience in this field.

The scholar also shared his successful experience in preparing and publishing high-impact scientific articles in international scientific databases. He offered useful recommendations for improving the quality of scientific work and answered participants’ questions.

During the meeting, opportunities for joint research and collaboration between the parties were also discussed. Professor Zafar noted that he is currently collaborating with some Master’s students on scientific projects and emphasized the potential for implementing joint projects in the future.
