Biology Faculty Students at the Genetic Resources Institute
Educational Visit to the Genetic Resources Institute Organized by Biology Faculty Volunteers. An educational and scientific excursion to the Genetic Resources Institute was organized by the volunteers of the Faculty of Biology within the “BDU Volunteers” organization. The main objective of the visit was to combine students’ theoretical knowledge with practical experience.
During the visit, students explored various research laboratories of the Institute and closely observed the ongoing scientific work. They were provided with detailed information on the conservation of genetic resources, preservation of biodiversity, and modern techniques used in molecular biology and biotechnology. One of the highlights of the visit was the practical demonstrations on biological samples conducted by laboratory specialists.
Throughout the event, participants actively engaged with the Institute’s experts, asking questions and expanding their understanding of the practical aspects of scientific research. The discussions played a significant role in fostering students’ interest in scientific inquiry and bringing them closer to the world of research.
