On November 6, 2025, an artistic evening titled “In the Footsteps of Victory...” dedicated to “Victory Day – November 8” was held at the “Student Development Center of Baku State University”, organized jointly by the “BDU Volunteers” organization (Biology Faculty branch) and the “Bioteam” Club.

The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Biology, Afat MAmmAdova, faculty members, students, and guests.

In her speech, Dean Afət Məmmədova emphasized that November 8 – Victory Day holds a significant place in the history of the Azerbaijani people, symbolizing the power of the state, the unity of the nation, and the triumph of national spirit. She called on young people to honor the sacred memory of the martyrs, to preserve this victory, and to pass it on to future generations.

Next, Ilkin Agazada, a hero of the Patriotic War and a reserve major of the Special Forces, shared his battle memories, speaking about the bravery and self-sacrifice of Azerbaijani soldiers on the road to victory. He underlined the importance of raising the younger generation with love for the Motherland, loyalty to the state, and a strong national spirit, noting that the sacred memory of the martyrs will forever live in the nation’s heart.

Also speaking at the event was Elshan Mammadov, a participant of the Patriotic War and Major awarded with the Karabakh Order, who highlighted the heroism of the Azerbaijani Army during the 44-day Patriotic War and encouraged young people to preserve this spirit and to be worthy citizens of their homeland.

The students’ performances, reflecting themes such as the symbol of victory – the Khari Bulbul flower, liberated Karabakh, and the triumph of the nation, left a deep emotional impression on the audience.
