Another scientific seminar dedicated to 'Science Day' has been held

A scientific seminar titled 'Study of blood parameters in pregnant rabbits subjected to prenatal hypokinesia and their newborn offspring' was organized at the Faculty of Biology, dedicated to the March 27 "Science Day", with the participation of faculty staff, young researchers, and students. The seminar was presented by Jeyhuna Hamidova, a doctoral student of the Department of Zoology and Physiology.
The report presented the results of scientific research conducted on the effects of prenatal hypokinesia on physiological and hematological changes occurring in the maternal body and newborn offspring. It was noted that the restriction of physical activity during the embryonic development stage can affect various functional systems of the body, leading to certain changes in subsequent developmental stages.
During the seminar, information was provided regarding the methodology of the experimental research, the animal subjects used, and a comparative analysis of the obtained hematological indicators. The research results demonstrated that prenatal hypokinesia causes specific changes in the blood system, and these changes are also observed in newborn offspring.
At the conclusion, discussions were held on the topic, participants' questions were addressed, and the theoretical and practical significance of the conducted research was highlighted.
