An associate professor of the Faculty of Biology was awarded a jubilee medal
On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the national press of Azerbaijan, Sevda Tahirli, Associate Professor of the Department of Botany and Plant Physiology at the Faculty of Biology of Baku State University, has been awarded the jubilee medal “150th Anniversary of the Azerbaijani National Press (1875–2025),” established by a relevant Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev.
This prestigious state award is a high recognition of Sevda Tahirli’s many years of active engagement in media activities, her contributions to the development of the national press, her scientific and journalistic publications, and her effective efforts in public education and awareness. Her consistent and responsible work in both science and media has played an important role in bringing scientific knowledge to a wide audience.
