A training program titled “Academic Communication and Speech” was held at the Faculty of Biology of Baku State University with the participation of well-known TV host and announcer Mumtaz Khalilzada. The event was organized by the Student Youth Organization of the Faculty of Biology.
During the training, Mumtaz Khalilzada shared his professional experience with students on topics such as speech culture, stage speech, effective communication with an audience, nuances of emphasis and diction, and the use of voice during academic presentations. He also answered students’ questions and provided practical advice.
The main purpose of the event was to develop students’ public speaking skills and support them in delivering more professional and confident presentations in academic settings. The students showed great interest in the meeting and highly appreciated Mumtaz Khalilzada’s advice based on real experience.
The BSU Faculty of Biology Student Youth Organization plans to continue organizing such educational events aimed at the personal development of students in the future.
