A scientific seminar dedicated to viruses was held
A scientific seminar titled “Viruses: The Intersection of Danger and Science” was successfully held at the Faculty of Biology, organized by the Biology Student Scientific Society. During the event, second-year students Dilavar Adigozalzada and Eltan Agabalayev delivered presentations.
The seminar provided detailed information about the structure of viruses, their entry mechanisms into host organisms, replication processes, and strategies for evading the immune system. The presentations also emphasized the dual nature of viruses—not only as disease-causing agents but also as powerful tools in biotechnology and medicine.
The event was met with great interest from both students and faculty, sparking active discussions among participants.
Such seminars play an important role in shaping the scientific outlook of young researchers and deepening their knowledge.
