A New Year event titled “Mix Talent” was held at the Faculty of Biology, organized by the Bioteam student club. Taking place in a festive New Year atmosphere, the event brought together students and faculty members, creating a memorable environment of creativity, talent, and sincere interaction.

In her address, Afat Mammadova, Dean of the Faculty of Biology, noted that the development of students should involve not only academic knowledge but also creativity and social skills, which are among the key requirements of modern higher education. She emphasized that initiatives such as “Mix Talent” expand students’ opportunities for self-expression, encourage more active participation in faculty life, and make an important contribution to the formation of a healthy academic and cultural environment. The Dean highly appreciated student initiatives and stressed the importance of continuing such events in the future.

In his speech, Rovshan Khalilov, Head of the Department of Biophysics and biochemistry, highly evaluated the organizational activity of the Bioteam club and the creative potential of the students. He noted that such events enhance students’ abilities to work in teams, communicate effectively, and showcase their skills, while also strengthening unity and solidarity within the faculty. Rovshan Khalilov encouraged students to be more active in such initiatives and wished them continued success.

As part of the program, students presented musical performances, poetry recitations, dance, and other creative acts. The diverse program was met with great interest by the participants and provided a pleasant opportunity to share the New Year spirit.
